To support our programs, we are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of:


HSE COORDINATOR

Responsibilities :

  • Coaching, leading and influencing the HSE professionals in the organization meet Environmental, Safety, and Health strategies and objectives.

  • Designing, implementing and improving the health, safety and environmental programs.

  • Responsible for leading and guiding the site management in injury and illness prevention; sustainability, conservation practices and compliance with local, federal and company requirements.

  • Executes HSE regulatory responsibilities for the organization

  • Conducts staff training to ensure complete dissemination of information; assigns official HSE functions and assists departments in the understanding and execution of their role within the Organization setting. Provides training, including Hazard Communication, Injury Illness Prevention Disaster Preparedness, CPR & First Aid, Emergency Response & 1st Responder, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Protection, Bio-Safety, etc.

  • Documents all EHS activity for audit purposes; interprets Safety regulations and develops formal protocol for compliance; develops organization policy and enforcement measures.

  • Conducts ergonomic evaluations and training, compiles information, recommends corrective measures, reports summaries and findings, proposes ergonomic equipment selection and long term plans and programs for the Organization.

Requiremets :

  • University degree, ideally, in related field.

  • Certification in HSE related issues.

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience.

  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

  • A common sense approach to work in a HSE working environment.

  • Good interpersonal skills coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work essential.
